Pastor's Note:

Psalm 92 is a wonderful Psalm for the New Year. It begins in verse one with "It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;" May we as a church family continue to increase in our thankfulness and praise of the Lord.

Verse ten says, "But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil."
May we this new year be anointed each new day with the fresh touch of the Holy Spirit. May His touch bring health and wholeness.

Verse fourteen says, "They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing." No matter what your physical age may each one of us be the fulfillment of this wonderful promise. May you bear much fruit. May you greet each new day with freshness. And may you flourish in abundance!

As this new year begins I have been thinking about the word "freshness." Acts 3:19 says "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing May come from the presence of the Lord."

Lord make it so!
