Home Groups Starting Up for Fall

posted Sep 13, 2018, 1:54 PM by Lee Seekins

Faith Community Church encourages the members of our congregation to live life together in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One element of "doing life together" are our home groups. These small groups meet on a regular (weekly) basis in the homes of various congregation members.

Currently, three home groups are meeting, or preparing to start meetings. Speak directly with the home group leaders for information on meeting locations.

No worries if you are just now deciding to commit to a home group! The more the merrier at each group. If a group hits "capacity" we will facilitate forming a new group.

Women's Inductive Bible Study begins in September

posted Aug 25, 2018, 2:51 PM by Lee Seekins

Are you spiritually hungry? Coming in September we will set out on a journey to learn to feed ourselves!

We are offering an inductive Bible study in the book of Ephesians. As a student, you will learn, and practice, inductive Bible study through a 3-step process: observation (what does it say?), interpretation (what does it mean?), and application (what does it mean for my life.).

We will be immersing ourselves in the text by reading and rereading, asking questions, and doing research on word meanings and cultural context.

I am anticipating life-changing results by the powerful working of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Two identical sessions will be offered: one morning and one evening TBA.

Your mind will always believe everything you tell it. Feed it faith. Feed it truth. Feed it love.

Walking with you,

Janice
